Robert J. Cohen,  is a highly regarded talent in the areas of Information technology, Telecommunications and Software industries specializing in Information Security.

With over 20 years in high-technology environments, Robert has distinguished himself by building organizations with both infrastructure and identity.  Prior to forming Secure IT Experts, Robert worked with Solutionary, Inc., helping organizations design, implement and manage enterprise security programs.  Prior to Solutionary, Robert was the co-founder of American Management System (AMS)’s Enterprise Security Group and also held position of Senior Vice President, in charge of the e-Trust security division at Computer Associates.  Robert has written many white-papers and articles pertaining to Information Security and published the book, “The Tele-Communications Training Manual” which was widely adopted as one of the first instructional sales manuals for the telecommunications field. 


Mark D. Rasch is an attorney and information security and privacy consultant.  He has worked with major companies on data breach, data breach disclosure investigations, he has developed data breach disclosure policies and procedures for members of the Direct Marketing Association, and developed information security and incident response policies and plans for Fortune 50 companies as well as major financial institutions. He worked with VISA and MasterCard to help develop the original PCI (Payment Card Industry) guidelines for securing payment systems.   He was formerly the Senior Vice President and Chief Security Counsel for Solutionary Inc. and Vice President for cyberlaw with Predictive Systems, Inc., providing computer security consulting and implementation services to the US government, intelligence and law enforcement agencies.  Mr. Rasch led the U.S. Department of Justice’s efforts to investigate and prosecute computer and high-technology crimes, developing the DOJ initial guidelines on computer crime investigations, forensics and evidence gathering, he worked with Congress to draft and revise computer crime and electronic evidence laws.  Mark investigated and prosecuted the earliest computer crime cases including those of Kevin Poulsen, Kevin Mitnick and Robert T. Morris.

Mark has written and lectured extensively on computer crime, privacy, trademark, and trade secret issues on the Internet, and has been featured in USA Today, The New York Times, NBC Nightly News, ABC’s Nightline, PBS’ Technopolitics, CNBC, and NPR as an expert on computer law and policy.  He has been an adjunct faculty member of the Washington College of Law at American University, teaching courses on white-collar crime, at the George Washington University School of Engineering, teaching courses in Law for Engineers, and at the Catholic University School of Law where he taught courses in Evidence Law.  He is also a senior advisor and a former faculty member at the University of Fairfax graduate and PhD program in information security where he taught classes in computer incident response and forensics.   He authors a monthly column on law and technology on Symantec’s SecurityFocus website, and is a contributor to Wired Magazine and the Intellectual Property Law Journal. 

Nicholas Hoover is a successful and seasoned C level executive in technology and business consulting. He holds a bachelors degree in computer science and has over 30 years of professional Information Technology experience. His background includes the managerial aspects of technical weaknesses in industry and business.  He has won the United States Postal Service supplier award twice, and has spoken at NetWorld on emerging trends in technology.  Nick is an expert in process definition and Business Process Re-engineering.  He has worked extensively with compliance factors within the Federal Government and has developed multiple tools for assessing compliance and risk.  Nick has worked extensively overseas for organizations like the International Telecommunication Union, the United Nations and several large financial institutions in the orient.  He has provided  security consulting services for most of the major financial institutions in the United States.   Nick has held executive positions with consulting firms like SAIC, Booze Allen Hamilton and IBM. He has certifications and formal education in many areas of business management and Information Technology, security and compliance.
